About the Club

Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, the Club has made changes to the way we operate to ensure the safety of all of our members, visitors and staff. Please take the time to read this document before your visit to the Club. Thank you. Most areas of the clubhouse are now re-open but under strict government guided regulations. Locker Rooms and changing facilities remain closed for the time being.

Our newly appointed Head Professional, Gregg Pettersen, has been attached to the club since 2000.
Chris Whittle, Course Manager, who joined the club in 1994 having supervised the Muirfield links for six years, leads the greenkeeping team.

Dress Code

ON THE COURSE – Please wear smart golf clothing - this is essential. Golf shoes are to be worn and any shorts should be tailored.

LEAVING THE COURSE – Please remove hats and waterproof clothing in the locker rooms, as they are not allowed in the main Clubhouse. Cleaned golf shoes may be worn in the Spike Bar.

IN THE CLUBHOUSE – Please note smart casual/golf dress is essential.

Gentlemen require a jacket and tie in the Main Dining Room only.

Our general principle is that Members, their Guests and Visitors are smartly attired on and off the links.

Inappropriate clothing, for example, blue denim jeans, tracksuits, cargo pants, crew-neck t-shirts, flip-flops or similar are not permitted.

MOBILE PHONES - We all appreciate that mobile phones are silent in the Clubhouse; they may be answered and used discreetly in the Golfers’ Corridor and Locker Rooms.
